This past week, Greenwood Elementary School was proudly represented by Nina Wetzel (5th grade) and Liam Haines (4th grade) at the PA Invention Convention held in Hershey. This is the first time to have students from Greenwood competing at the state level. Nina's invention was the "Visionary Visor," which is a visor that has four changeable lenses. Liam created "The Healthy Way Kids App," which is an app filled with recipes designed to target specific health conditions children may have. All competing students had to document their invention/innovation journeys in a log book, create a blue print, and design a prototype. We are so proud of Nina and Liam's hard work and perseverance!
