Last week, when the weather was beautiful, our elementary students took full advantage of it during a "School-Wide Get Outside” event! ☀️
All students in grades K–5 spent time outdoors enjoying the fresh air. Some students chose to play and be active, while others continued their learning in an outdoor setting. It was a wonderful opportunity to mix fun with education and make the most of the sunshine!
Of course, this week reminded us that it is still early spring—bringing back the cold, gray, and unpredictable weather 🌧️❄️—but we’re so glad we made the most of those warm, sunny moments while we had them! We had a great time and look forward to more days like that ahead!

This weekend Quinlin McAllister represented Greenwood at the PMEA District 7 Jazz Festival. We are so proud of her!

Eight Greenwood students took a tour of Secco Electric in Camp Hill. Bill McSherry, Heather Gates, and their team graciously took time out of their day to give our students some hands on demonstrations in bending conduit and showed us their shop and continuing education areas in their business. But more importantly, they took the time to explain the different types of electrical work done by different companies as well as the different avenues to pursue a Journeyman Certification.

Last day to order your elementary yearbook!

Students in grades K–5 are loving our new ChompSaws! These are safe, kid-friendly cardboard cutting saws that allow them to cut, design, and build a variety of creative STEM projects! A huge thank you to the Greenwood Wildcat Foundation for purchasing these tools for our students. We are incredibly thankful for your support! These saws are an amazing addition to our STEM program and help provide authentic, hands-on learning experiences every time students create.

Six Business students competed in the Sales Competition at Susquehanna University.
