Family STEM Night was awesome!! We had a huge turn out. The kiddos loved showing off their creations and had even more fun playing all of the games! Greenwood's version of Caine's Arcade was incredible.

STEAM Day 2024 was a huge success! Don't forget to swing by tonight between 5:00 and 7:00 to check out some of the creations! If you can't make it, be sure to ask your Wildcat about their day. I think they'll have a lot of fun learning to share.

First grade had the best earth day! Together we learned about how to limit waste by utilizing our food scraps to become fresh soil through composting. The kiddos then got the opportunity to create their own compost bag. They carefully balanced green and brown materials to ensure the productivity of their bag. They also added a worm to act as the decomposer. Later, we traveled to the high school to create mini greenhouses. We learned about everything that happens in the large greenhouse. We even got to plant our very own lettuce! This should be ready to harvest by the end of the school year.

Today, across the state, twenty-two FFA members were named as State Proficiency Winners. Two of these winners were from Greenwood! Congratulations, Emily and Drew.
