Sixth grade fall cleanup crew. These amazing student wanted to help with this project again so 25 of them stayed after school today to help kindness club clean up more than 20 -large garbage bags of leaves and dead roots of plants. They also cleaned up crushed acorns on the road. Amazing work sixth grade.

Please use caution when driving through campus. PPl is doing repairs and has a temporary power supply across the sidewalk and driveway. You may come across cones, speed bumps, and taped off areas as you drive through.
5th grade students completed a unit during STEM that helped them learn about the concept of prosthetics and the challenges individuals with limb differences face. Students designed basic prosthetic leg models, tested the models, and optimized their designs.
Special thanks to Eric Price for speaking to our 5th graders and sharing his story. What an amazing experience for our students!
Mrs Byers's class includes Miss Polcha's students in leaf clean up service project.
Sixth Grade science classes learn about service to the community, teamwork and the science of why we clean up leaves.
We are still collecting unopened cereal boxes at the elementary school for our 2nd Annual Cereal Domino Challenge. All cereal will be donated locally after the event. Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Work-based Learning Opportunities Galore! Check out our high school students who received hands-on experiences at three separate events in November. Students attended a Manufacturers' Expo, a Hospitality Workshop, and the Independent Electrical Contractor's Lab Day.

All students in grades K-5 had the opportunity to taste test different varieties of baby greens and lettuce grown from seeds in our Tower Garden during STEM class. Lots of thumbs up! We can't wait to grow more!🌱🪴

9th Graders have been going through the part-time job hiring process by completing job applications, practing interviews and a final interview with an 11th Grader.
7th graders calculated the average speed of their matchbox cars down a ramp to determine who had the fastest car in the class!

Recently, Juniata Valley Bank presented a grant check for $2,000 to Greenwood Middle/High School which will be used to procure additional instructional technology!
