ROAR Tour 2025 was a huge success! Our elementary students spent the morning traveling throughout GWDES, working with students from other grade levels, showing us how to ROAR! They played games and practiced ROARing in the cafeteria, LGI, classroom, at recess, when using tech, and on the bus. In the afternoon the 9th Grade Class Officers, and other High Schoolers from grades 9-12 came to lead us in our first Elementary School Pep Rally! Our High School friends shared their memories from elementary school and how they shaped their current passions. Our Elementary students even had a chance to step up to the mic to share their passions like art, gymnastics, soccer, engineering, reading, and being outside. To say it was fun would be a huge understatement. I couldn't begin to count the smiles and Its good our gym is made of block because our cheering could shatter glass.
💙💛Congratulations to our 4th graders for taking home the spirit stick! 💙💛Thank you to all the staff and students who made this day happen. It was the best day with many memories made. 💙💛
