First grade has been researching and studying career paths for their future. At the end of the month, they will write an entry about what they want to be when they grow up. This entry will then be published and turned into a book! This week, they had a local coffeehouse, Shine, visit. They learned all kinds of things needed to run a business. They also designed some coffee sleeves that the shop will use for their customers!

Mrs. Woodard's American History 1 class took their learning a step further by comparing and contrasting historically significant people, places, and events from America's earliest colonies using Venn Diagrams. The best part...they got to demonstrate their learning OUTSIDE using chalk! Learning is way more fun in the sun!
