Last week, when the weather was beautiful, our elementary students took full advantage of it during a "School-Wide Get Outside” event! ☀️

All students in grades K–5 spent time outdoors enjoying the fresh air. Some students chose to play and be active, while others continued their learning in an outdoor setting. It was a wonderful opportunity to mix fun with education and make the most of the sunshine!

Of course, this week reminded us that it is still early spring—bringing back the cold, gray, and unpredictable weather 🌧️❄️—but we’re so glad we made the most of those warm, sunny moments while we had them! We had a great time and look forward to more days like that ahead!

Eight Greenwood students took a tour of Secco Electric in Camp Hill. Bill McSherry, Heather Gates, and their team graciously took time out of their day to give our students some hands on demonstrations in bending conduit and showed us their shop and continuing education areas in their business. But more importantly, they took the time to explain the different types of electrical work done by different companies as well as the different avenues to pursue a Journeyman Certification.
