Faculty and staff at the middle/high school got in the spirit today and dressed up for a costume contest benefitting the middle school ROAR program. There's still one more day to vote during all lunches in the cafeteria tomorrow! Winning team will be announced next week at the recognition rally.

Tickets Tickets are $8. Spectators are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance through the District III ticketing site. Exact cash sales will also be accepted at the gate.
Spectator Information Greenwood spectators should sit on the visitor side of the bleachers. This area will be marked on the same side as the Visiting (Greenwood) bench.
Spectators can also bring lawn chairs or stand around the field fence but are not permitted in the area directly behind the team benches.

Congratulations to senior Quinlin McAllister for being selected to represent Greenwood High School at the 2027 PMEA District 7 Chorus Festival in January! She had an excellent audition this past Saturday at Central York High School, competing as an alto vocalist among students from across South-Central Pennsylvania.
Quin will have the honor of having participated in both the District 7 Jazz Festival (2026) and the District 7 Chorus Festival (2027) during her time at Greenwood. Way to go Quinlin, we are so proud of you!

In 7th Grade Social Studies classes today, students demonstrated how archaeologists study and identify historical artifacts. The twist? The artifacts were provided by Greenwood teachers, staff, and faculty who were willing to donate to the event. Even as far back as the 1960s! Do you recognize any of the artifacts?

Cumberland Perry Area Career & Technical Center (CPACTC) is having an open house for any student in grades 7th-11th, and their parents/guardians, who are interested in learning more about what CPACTC has to offer. This year's open house takes place on November 4th and 5th from 5pm-7pm at the CPACTC in Mechanicsburg. No registration necessary and the open house is free to attend!

This week all students who ride a bus, in grades K-12, will be practicing a rear bus evacuation drill. Safety is our top priority, and our students are doing a great job lending a hand and following directions as they learn how to exit the bus quickly and safely in the event of an emergency.

Elementary walking club is back! It was a chilly, foggy morning, but we had a great turnout. Students have the ability to walk or run laps before the school day officially starts. Each week we have different guest teachers walk too! Encourage your kiddo to join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week!
