This week, Greenwood's Sophomore and Junior classes joined students from each of the Perry County high schools and visited the Perry County Economic Development Authority's Career Fair at the Life Center in Newport. More than 40 local companies and technical schools graciously gave of their time to offer opportunities for students to learn about their businesses and how they could use these positions to lead into lifelong careers. The PCEDA's goal is to educate students about local opportunities for entry level jobs that they could get now or shortly after graduation. It was a great day where students could network to increase their potential for future employment.
