Hello Greenwood Families,
The beginning days of our school year have been productive and we offer our appreciation for your efforts in contributing to this success. Our district staff is focused on growth. We look forward to your partnership as we strive to maximize the developmental opportunities provided to our students. As we get set for a holiday weekend, please share in some informational items:
1. Please be encouraged to apply if you believe your family could qualify for free/reduced meals. If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Dawn Knisely at 717-589-3115 ext. 1400.
2. As traffic patterns change with students matriculating through the grade levels, please be reminded if a student is a car rider at regular dismissal from the HS/MS and the lower parking lot outside the front entrance is full, please do not idle in the middle of that lot waiting for a student. Parking spaces will be available in the student lot in the middle of our campus.
3. We hope that students, staff and families have the opportunity to enjoy this long weekend. There is no school beginning tomorrow and concluding on Monday. Students will return to campus to resume classes on Tuesday, September 6th. Have some fun!
4. A few important dates to place on calendars from both of our buildings:
9/14 – Last day for schedule changes at the HS/MS
9/15 – HS/MS Open House – Back to School Night 6:00 – 7:30pm
9/24 – Homecoming Festivities
9/29 – Elementary Picture Day
10/6 – HS/MS Picture Day
10/7 – Grandparents Day in the Elementary
