Good Morning, Wildcats!
For those of you that may not have heard, the Greenwood Boys Varsity Basketball Team defeated High Point Baptist 50-47 last night to advance to their second consecutive District 3 Class A Boys Championship game against Linville Hill. Later tonight, our Girls Varsity Basketball Team will travel to Mount Calvary Christian where they will attempt to secure a spot in Friday’s District 3 Class A Girls Championship game. Both contests will tip off at 2:45pm at the Giant Center in Hershey.
The nightly support demonstrated by our students, community, and staff has been exemplary all year long. To accommodate what we will anticipate will be a high demand to support the Boys Team on Thursday, Greenwood Elementary School and Greenwood Middle/High School will dismiss at 1:00pm on Thursday, February 29th. Should the Girls Basketball Team win tonight, we will do the same on Friday. All students will receive their lunches at regularly scheduled times. Should the need to move to an early dismissal on Friday occur, additional communication will be sent tomorrow morning.
