Superintendent Message

November 3, 2023

 Dear Wildcat Families,

I hope this letter finds you well. As we approach the winter season, I wanted to provide you with some important information regarding our school district’s procedures and plans in the event of severe winter weather.

First and foremost, the safety of our students is our top priority. If inclement weather conditions, such as heavy snow or icy roads make it unsafe for students to travel to school, we may need to implement a delayed start, school closure, or remote learning day. We will follow guidance to make the best decision for the safety of our students. We understand that winter weather can sometimes disrupt the regular school schedule, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation during such times.

In the event of a delayed start, closure, or remote day, we will notify you through the typical communication channels, email, text, and phone call. This information will also be found within the alert banner at the top of our webpage.

A copy of the remote day live lesson schedules and instructions for each building will be emailed. Our plan is for the building principals to also share this information with you through email if and when a remote day is announced. If you have any questions or concerns about our winter weather procedures, please reach out to your child’s school. We value your partnership and thank you for your continued support!

Sincerely,

 Mary Murphy-Kahn
