I'm Mrs. Peterson and I have been teaching French and Spanish at Greenwood since 2010.
I grew up in Marysville and attended Susquenita. I obtained my bachelor's degree from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA, where I majored in Spanish, minored in Education and Political Science, and earned my teaching certificate. I spent my entire junior year of college in Malaga, Spain. During this time, I took college classes, lived with a wonderful host family (that didn't speak any English!), and traveled extensively. It was truly an opportunity of a lifetime. After graduation, I earned my French certification by taking additional classes and spending a summer in Paris (taking classes and living with a French woman). I earned my Masters in Teaching Foreign Languages with a focus in Spanish through an online program at the University of Southern Mississippi.
Please feel free to contact me at any time with questions, concerns, or other comments. I look forward to hearing from you!
