    The PA Dept. of Human Services announces the Crisis Text Line service for teens or individuals struggling and in need of support.  Connect with a trained and caring Crisis Counselor through the Crisis Text Line.

    Parent/Family Support Group Announcement

    Are you concerned about your child's or another family member's substance abuse?  You may want to consider the services provided by Perry Human Services.  PHS has a parent/family support group that meets every 2nd Monday of the month from 7-8:30 PM. Find encouragement and help!

    Family and Friends of Addicts Support Group

    The Church of God in Landisburg, PA is starting a Family and Friends Support Group.  This will be an 8 week workshop focusing on Addiction:

    FREE Parenting Classes

    The Perry County Family Center is offering free Parenting Classes every Wednesday evening from 6-7:30 at their center.  Child care is not available.  A new class is planned starting March 20, 2018 focusing on the ACT Raising Safe Kids Program.  This is a seven session class and it is excellent!

    Join Hands is a contact and support center for persons living in Perry County, PA.  They are there to aid those seeking assistance with daily living concerns.

    Perry County Food Bank

    The Perry County Food Bank operates an Emergency Food Pantry three days a week:  M, W and F.  There are additional food distribution areas to outlying sites one Saturday per month.  The hours of operation vary so seek additional information on the hours of operation.

    Perry County Literacy Council

    Are you inderested in adult education opportunities?  The Perry County Literacy Council offers adult assessment and instruction in all subject areas.  This is accomplished through teachers, one to one tutors and computer instruction.  They provide GED instruction and testing registration for Perry County.  Additionally, they offer free income tax prepartion for low to moderate-income families.     Beacon Clinic

    Beacon Clinic for Health and Hope is a member of the PA Association of Free Clinics and is a nonprofit charitable ministry.  Its mission is to inspire hope, health and well-being by providing high quality, culturally competent free, faith-based primary healthcare to uninsured and underserved adults in the Greater Harrisburg community.  The clinic provides primary health care services that are free to all adults who qualify.
